Morocco's airliner gets stakes of Air Senegal

Morocco's flag carrier "Royal Air Maroc" has purchased 51 % stakes of "Air Senegal" within the frame of its strategy to enhance partnership ties with African companies, foster its presence in sub-saharan Africa and extend its network.
The two companies have agreed in principle over the deal during the visit Moroccan premier Abderrahmane Youssoufi paid lately to Senegal within the frame of an African tour which also led him to Guinea, Gabon, Cote D'Ivoire and Burkina-Faso.
In a statement to Radio Africa nø1, the Senegalese air transports minister, Tidiane Sylla, said the terms of the deal sealed between Moroccan and Senegalese airliners will be announced by the end of June.
The Moroccan airliner has 27 planes servicing 57 destinations in 36 countries in the five continents.
