Dubai trade center conference in Cairo to promote inter-trade
United Arab Emirates-Egypt, Economics, 6/16/1999
The general manager of the Dubai World Trade Center, Wahid Attalla, stated that the center is going to organize "UAE in Egypt: Exhibition & Conference" in Egypt on March 27 - 30 at the Cairo International Conference Center.
The conference aims at establishing a basis for understanding of the economic reserves between the two countries' businessmen.
This was said at a press conference held at the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry, in which a number of high-powered officials from the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Dubai Ports Authority and the whole region will take part.
Attalla said, "In todayıs world, where economically developed countries have chosen to align themselves in blocs, it makes sense for Arab countries to also think on similar lines. There is already an ongoing thought within the GCC countries seeking economic integration because it is generally agreed upon that economic integration is the most important component of political stability and social prosperity in any region."
