Sorour discusses supporting bilateral relations with Algeria

Ahmed Fathi Sorour, head of the Arab Parliamentary Union and chairman of the Egyptian People's Assembly left Cairo yesterday heading to Algeria for a two-day visit, during which he will be received by Algerian President Abdelaziz Bouteflika and high-ranking Algerian officials.
Before he left for Algeria, Sorour said, "The visit comes in framework of supporting and developing cooperation relations between Egypt and Algeria, as well as strengthening historical relations between the two countries."
He added that he will meet during the visit with heads of government, of the national people's assembly, constitution council and state's council, confirming that the meetings aim at discussing means of supporting and strengthening relations between the two countries in different fields, especially parliamentary relations.
