Syrian - Jordanian joint higher committee to meet on June 28

The Jordanian paper al-Aswaq said that meetings of the joint Syrian-Jordanian higher committee chaired by the two states' prime ministers will be held on June 28 and 29. The paper expected that Syria will appoint a new ambassador and then send back the former ambassador, Majeed Abu Saleh, to Amman shortly afterward. The paper added that discussions continue between the two governments to complete the joint summit's work agenda.
