14 Members of Algerian Shura Council support Bouteflika's efforts to achieve national reconciliation

14 members of Algeria's Shura Council, former members of the prohibited Islamic Salvation Front, announced Sunday their support for the efforts of Algerian President Abdelaziz Bouteflika to achieve national reconciliation and halt the bloodshed.
They said they hail Bouteflika for his patriotic spirit, his political courage and the great efforts he exerted and still exerts to end the crisis, achieve reconciliation and save the blood of Algeria's people, restore national brotherhood, security and stability until the nation is dedicated to construction and building and dedicates its human and material capabilities to achieve comprehensive development.
In a statement, the members said they strongly support every endeavor to stop bloodshed and every step that helps restore stability and end suffering. They also approved and hailed the recent stand between the presidency and Islamic Salvation Army, describing it as an encouraging stance and pointing out that this indicates the strong and honest desire to restore stability and security to the country.
