Egypt represents Mediterranean countries in international conference in Turkey

Egyptian Minister of Petroleum Hamdi El-Banbi is to visit Turkey on June 20 to participate in the works of the energy conference in the Mediterranean Sea, Caspian Sea and the Black Sea, hosted by Istanbul.
Egypt was chosen to represent the Mediterranean countries, Azerbaijan was chosen to represent the countries of the Caspian Sea, and Georgia to represent the Black Sea to participate in the conference, which will be opened by Turkish President Suleiman Demirel.
El-Banbi will deliver an address at the four-day conference, in which he will tackle Egypt's experience in the energy field and projects for regional cooperation in this matter.
The conference will be organized by the Turkish Businessmen's Council, the business council for the Black Sea area and the Cambridge Corporation for Energy Research in the framework of Turkish concern with energy projects on the regional level in Central Asia, Caucasus and the Middle East regarding the Turkish needs.
