Moroccan emigrant jailed for drug trafficking offenses

A Moroccan court sentenced recently a Moroccan emigrant to three years in jail for drug trafficking and smuggling charges.
Abdellatif Batis was caught last week at the northern port of Tangier with 60 kg of cannabis concealed in his vehicle registered in Belgium.
The court also fined the emigrant around $200 and confiscated his vehicle.
