Oman, Pakistan sign agreement on avoiding double taxation

Oman and Pakistan have signed in Muscat an agreement that provides for avoiding double taxation and preventing the escape of income taxation. On the Omani side the agreement was signed by Minister of National Economy Ahmad Bin Abdul Nabi Mecci, and on the Pakistani side, it was signed by Pakistan's ambassador in Oman.
The agreement will provide complete protection for investors from imposition of double taxation in the two countries, a matter which is desigend to lead to encouraging investors to invest in the other country to serve the two sides' economics.
