Italy refuses the entry of 20 tons of Egyptian onions

The Italian authorities refused the entry of 20 tons of Egyptian onions and garlic to its harbors, saying the shipment was rotten. The Egyptian commercial office in Rome informed the sponsorship organization on exports and import with the incident to investigate it. An official source in the organization told ArabicNews.com that the refusal was due to not checking these shipments while they were being exported to Italy and not in framework of the current commercial disputes between Egypt and European Union.
