Al-Rawabdeh urges Arab states to adopt unified stance regarding Israel
Jordan, Politics, 6/12/1999

Jordanian Prime Minister Abdul Raouf al-Rawabdeh urged the Arab states to put aside their disputes to overcome the current circumstances and form a unified line able to protect the rights of the Arab nation, adding that it is necessary to unite in order to return the peace process to its right course.

He stated that King Abdullah Bin Hussein is making intensive communications in order to convene the five-fold committee, adding that it will be held soon.

He said, "Barak's assumption of power in Israel was received by a good approval by the Arab and European countries," adding that any delay in the Arab peace process will lead to frustrations.

He stated that King Abdullah will soon visit Cairo and that there are continuous phone calls between Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak and King Abdullah regarding Arab and regional causes.
