European concession in partnership negotiations with Egypt

The vice president of the European Commission, Sir Leon Brittan, announced that the European Union's foreign ministers have agreed to present a comprehensive initiative to settle the unresolved issues in the partnership agreement with Egypt, including agricultural exports, textiles, and ready-made clothes.
Brittan told ArabicNews.com that the details of the initiative have already presented to the Egyptian government and that the initiative includes essential concessions from the European side.
He added that in the case of a positive Egyptian response, the EU ministers will meet on June 21 to specify the measures for endorsing the agreement. Brittan did not mention the details of these European concessions.
