Gaddafi meets with his Liberian counterpart today

Liberian President Charles Taylor arrived in Tripoli today on a visit to Libya during which he will hold discussions with Libyan leader Moammar Gaddafi and high-ranking officials regarding African current causes, especially national reconciliation in Sierra Leone and the peace process in the bilateral relations. Gaddafi met with Taylor in the capital, Tripoli.
Sources in the Libyan presidency said that Gaddafi informed his Liberian counterpart about developments in the situation in Libya after delivering the two Libyan suspects in the Lockerbie case for trial.
The sources stated that the Libyan president informed the Liberian president on the efforts exerted for reconciliation among Sudanese government and opposition, Eritrea, Sudan and Somalia.
