Rafsanjani praised relations with Saudi Arabia

Former Iranian President Hashami Rafsanjani has praised relations that currently exist between Iran and Saudi Arabia, stating that these relations are the best in their history.
During his meeting with the Saudi ambassador accredited in Tehran, Abdul Latif al-Meimani, on the occasion of ending his term of office to Iran, Rafsanjani added, "Strengthening relations in the two countries falls in the interests of the region and the Islamic word and their outcome will be seen very soon."
Rafsanjani asserted the importance of good relations between Tehran and Riyadh, due to the common issues shared in the Islamic world, especially preserving the security of the Gulf region, regional matters, oil and OPEC.
