Symposium on development and human rights to conclude today

A three-day regional symposium for human rights and development is to be concluded today.
The symposium's participants discussed reports presented on human rights, their relation to development, the role of non-governmental organizations and its experiments in this field, as well as the analytic view of theories for development and the role of Arab women.
The participants will review some experiments of the NGO's concerning development and a discussion session will be held on future relations between human rights, development and means of activating the rights in improving the Arab states.
Amid cooperation between the Arab League and United Nations, the AL Secretary General Esmat Abdul Meguid endorsed a document for projects financed by the United Nations Development Program when he received yesterday Fawaz El-Olaa, UN assistant secretary general for information, development, poverty and women.
