Leaders phone Mubarak to inquire about his health
Egypt, Politics, 6/9/1999

Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak received phone calls from Libyan leader Moammar Gaddafi, Morocco's King Hassan II, Syrian President Hafez al-Assad, United Arab Emirates President Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan al-Nahyan, and Saudi Crown Prince Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz to inquire about President Mubarak's health.

Meanwhile, President Mubarak confirmed that his health is quiet well after a sudden bout with the flu delayed his work.

Reassuring his people, Mubarak said that he is going to continue his work starting from tomorrow and that his visit to Morocco will take place on Saturday.

Egyptian Minister of Information Safwat El-Sherif said leaders and kings have phoned President Mubarak, and they discussed bilateral, regional and Arab issues, wishing for Mubarak good health.
