Arab League Assistant Secretary General Saeed Kamal, who is also the director of Palestine department at the Arab League, arrived in Jordan on Tuesday on a visit, during which he will preside over the meetings of the 46th session on educational affairs for the Palestinians, due to start on Saturday.

The week-long session will discuss several issues pertaining to the educational process for the people of occupied Palestine. The session will also discuss the educational and learning conditions of the Palestinian refugees' children.

Taking part in the meetings are delegations representing the refugee-hosting states -- Syria, Lebanon, Egypt, Palestine and Jordan -- as well as delegations representing the AL and ALECSO (the Arab League Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization).
