Bin Jubeir in Cairo

The chairman of the Egyptian's People's Assembly (parliament), Fathi Sorour, held a round of official talks on Tuesday with the chairman of the Shoura council in Saudi Arabia, Sheikh Muhammad Bin Ibrahim Bin Jubeir, and members of the accompanying delegation.
Bin Jubeir arrived in Cairo on Monday on a visit which will last for several days, during which he will meet with Egyptian Prime Minister Kamal Ganzouri, the ministers of foreign affairs, justice and al-Awqaf and al-Azhar's Sheikh Muhammad Sayyed Tantawi.
A statement issued following Tuesday's meeting said that talks dealt with "international and regional problems, the joining of the Saudi Shoura council to the Arab parliament and the Iranian proposal to establish the council of the federation of states' parliaments."
