King Abdullah, Sultan Qaboos discuss cooperation, Middle East peace

Jordanian Information Minister Nasser al-Louzi has asserted that talks between King Abdullah of Jordan and Sultan Qaboos Bin Said of Oman revealed identical stances between the two sides towards the importance of making use of the regional and international conditions to revive and reactivate the Middle East peace process on all tracks.
In statements he made on Tuesday in Amman, the Jordanian minister said it was agreed to continue efforts to revive the Middle East peace process to achieve a just and comprehensive peace in the region.
"The two sides agreed to establish ministerial committees in charghed with putting forward necessary measures designed to enhance joint cooperation in various fields," the Jordanian news agency Petra quoted the minister as saying. He said the visit was a reflection of "the depth of Jordnian - Omani ties."
The Jordanian minister added that the two sides reviewed in their talks the efforts made to consolidate Arab solidarity. They stressed their full backing for these efforts and readiness to contribute to serving Arab interests.
