Jordan celebrates King Abdullah's investiture

Jordan today celebrates King Abdullah's investiture, as June 9 of every year is considered the day of royal investiture which is a day off for all the country and its establishment and celebrations are held in all parts of the country on this occasion. As of today the name of King Abdullah will be King Abdullah II. In the same day King Abdullah will award Queen Rania Abdullah with the Hussein Bin Ali medal. As of today the annual celebration of King Hussein's investiture and his birthday will be cancelled.
