Ocalan's trial resumes

The Turkish State Security Court resumed today its trial of Kurdish leader Abdullah Ocalan, and the court may issue during the session the indictment.
The court granted the defense team a week to prepare its defense so the court could issue its final decision on this cause in the coming week.
Ocalan is facing a death sentence for the charge of high treason.
The Kurdish Workers' Party warned in a statement today against Ocalan's execution, and it threatened to launch revenge and suicide attacks against Turkish targets and interests.
