Libya - the first free zone in Mosrata

The Libyan government started establishing a free trade zone in the country near Misratah harbor in western Libya, regarding which a formal decree is expected to be issued soon by the minister of trade and economy to determine work on the new free trade zone and the procedures that must be ratified by the investors in the zone.
Establishing the first free zone comes after the decision issued by Tripoli to establish a general organization for free zones as a financially- and administratively-independent corporation under the auspices of the Ministry of Economy.
