Hilary Clinton to visit Palestinian areas on June 25

Palestinian Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Nabil Shaath said US first lady Hillary Clinton will visit the Palestinian areas on June 25 and that the two-day visit comes as part of a tour, during which she will visit Jordan and Israel. Shaath added in statements on Friday that the Palestinian - American joint committee will convene a series of meetings on June 23. He said these meetings will pave the way for the meeting of the Palestinian - American higher committee headed by the Palestinian President Yasser Arafat and US President Bill Clinton in July.
