Longest golden chain in the world at the opening of Egyptian marketing festival

The high executive committee for the Cairo marketing festival under the chairmanship of Egyptian Minister of Tourism Mamdouh El-Beltagi decided to manufacture the longest golden chain in the world to be displayed during the first day of the festival in the pyramids area.
The chain is 10 kilometers long and is to be displayed for a single day during the opening.
The committee also praised the cooperation of the World Gold Council, its members, manufactures of gold and Egyptian gold merchants for presenting one kilogram of gold daily throughout the festival, which will last for one month.
