Tunis hosts Euro-mediterranean conference on renewable energies

A Euro-Mediterranean conference on renewable energies is currently held in Tunis with the participation of experts from 30 countries. The conference, also attended by delegates of the world solar commission, the European commission and the U.N development program, is debating policies to promote renewable energies and consequently save energy and encourage the use of renewable energies in industry, rural development and water desalination.
On the fringes of the conference, a fair 'Med-Ener 99" is displaying the products, equipment and items related to renewable energies.
