New Egyptian ambassador to UN presents credentials

Egypt's new permanent representative to the United Nations, Ahmed Aboul Gheit, presented his credentials yesterday to UN Secretary General Kofi Annan. Aboul Gheit had been serving as assistant foreign minister of Egypt for Cabinet affairs.
