Lebanon, Syria refuse proposal conveyed by the US to freeze resistance acts

Well-informed sources told the Lebanese daily al-Nahar that the US conveyed two days ago to sides concerned in Beirut an Israeli proposal that calls for the Lebanese resistance to freeze its operations in Jezzine and south Lebanon to help the promise to maintain withdrawal from Lebanon. The Lebanese daily added that the Israeli proposal was rejected by Lebanon, Syria and the Lebanese resistance.
