Jordanian king arrives in Paris

King Abdullah Bin Hussein of Jordan arrived in Paris on Wednesday on a working visit during which he will hold talks with French President Jacques Chirac and Prime Minister Lionel Jospin.
During his visit, King Abdullah will discuss the regional situation and the new prospects for the Middle East peace process. Talks will also deal with canceling half of the Jordanian foreign debts demanded by Amman. The Jordanian foreign debt is estimated at US $6.8 billion.
