Former Lebanese premier in Damascus

Orient Radio said on Wednesday that former Lebanese Prime Minister Rafik Hariri met with Syrian Vice President Abdul Halim Khaddam and that talks between the two sides dealt with the latest developments.
The radio added that Hariri headed on Wednesday morning to Damascus to hold talks with Khaddam and high-ranking Syrian officials dealing with current conditions in the region.
The radio continued that during his visit to Damascus, Hariri is expected to meet with Saudi Crown Prince Abdullah, who arrived in Damascus from Libya on Wednesday night.
