Iraq to take part in Sudanese celebrations of pumping oil

Iraqi Minister of Petroleum Amer Mohammed Rashid is to pay a visit to Sudan to represent his country in Sudanese celebrations on the occasion of beginning the pumping of petroleum through a 1610 km pipeline to Port Sudan harbor.
Sudan's ambassador in Baghdad, Beshri El-Sheik Dafeh Allah, said there are cooperation exchange of experiences, and technical advisories between the two states in the field of oil exploration and training.
He added that 60 Sudanese students currently examine in Iraq the technical aspects of refining, petroleum pipelines and the production process.
Sudanese President Omar El-Bashir inaugurated on Monday the new petroleum pipeline in the Haglig region of West Kurdufan, where former Sudanese President Jaafar Nimieri was to attend the celebration.
