Contacts on president al-Assad's visit to Moscow

The Jordanian weekly al-Bilad quoted Russian diplomatic sources as saying that intensive contacts are currently being made between Moscow and Damascus in order to set a new date for President Hafez al-Assad's visit to Moscow. The paper added, quoting the sources, that Russia will provide Syria with spare parts for armored vehicles and anti-tank weapons, which are all defensive weapons.
