A message from Gaddafi to Bouteflika

The assistant secretary for African affairs in the people's general committee for foreign contacts and international cooperation in Libya, Abdul Salaam al-Tureiki, arrived in Algiers on Tuesday carrying a message from Libyan leader Col. Moammar Gaddafi to Algerian President Abdelaziz Bouteflika.
In an arrival statement to reporters, the Libyan official stated that this visit fell in the framework of political consultation between the two countries in preparation for the Organizatin of African Unity summit conference due to be held in July.
