The signing of an agreement for commercial cooperation between Egypt and the Czech Republic is taking place at the Egyptian Ministry of Trade. Egyptian Minister of Trade Ahmed Goweili and the Czech Republic's ambassador in Cairo will sign the agreement, which is to push forward all forms of commercial and investment cooperation between Egypt and the Czech Republic as well as exchanges of data regarding opportunities for trade and investment. A meeting will be held in Tehran next week to evaluate Iran's presidency of the Organization of the Islamic Conference. Chaired by Syrian Prime Minister Mahmoud al-Zou'bi, the Syrian higher investment council held a meeting on Monday. It discussed the memorandum submitted on the proposal to amend law no. 10 on encouraging investment for 1991. The council also discussed the proposed amendments to simplify governing measures, ensuring more exemptions, privileges and facilities and encouraging investors to increase and diversify their investment activities. Saudi Arabia's second deputy premier and defense minister, Prince Sultan Bin Abdul Aziz on Monday asserted that the health condition of King Fahd Bin Abdul Aziz is "satisfactory."
