OIC to hold evaluation meeting

A meeting will be held in Tehran next week to evaluate Iran's presidency of the Organization of the Islamic Conference. The participants in the meeting will discussthe activities of the chairman of the Organization of the Islamic Conference, Iranian President Muhammad Khatami, during the past one and a half years in the economic and cultural fields, dialogue of civilization and the efforts exerted by Iran to settle disputes between the OIC member states.

The participants will also discuss means of guaranteeing a brighter future for the OIC during the period remaining for Iran's presidency over the OIC.
