Jordan not to permit Israeli goods sneak to Syria

Jordanian Minister of Agriculture Hashem al-Shabboul has stated that Jordan will not permit the sneaking of Israeli agricultural products to Syria, via Jordan. The Jordanian weekly al-Hadath quoted the Jordanian minister as saying, "We are very careful to prevent such things from taking place."
He added, "We have taken tough measures in regards to the certificate of origin," adding in the past, "We have discovered an Israeli attempt to sneak goods bearing a certificate of origin from Malaysia, and we confiscated the smuggled goods and returned them back to their original source."
