Proposals to amend investment law in Syria

Chaired by Syrian Prime Minister Mahmoud al-Zou'bi, the Syrian higher investment council held a meeting on Monday. It discussed the memorandum submitted on the proposal to amend law no. 10 on encouraging investment for 1991. The council also discussed the proposed amendments to simplify governing measures, ensuring more exemptions, privileges and facilities and encouraging investors to increase and diversify their investment activities.
