A message to Lahoud for UAE president

Lebanese Minister of Transport and Public Works Najib Mikati conveyed during his meeting in Abu Dhabi on Sunday with Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Sheikh Khaleifa Bin Zayed al-Nahyan a message from Lebanese President Emile Lahoud and Prime Minister Salim al-Hoss, including the two Lebanese figures' greetings to President of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan al-Nahyan and their esteem and appreciation for Sheikh Zayed in supporting Lebanon's march of construction.

The Lebanese minister and Sheikh Khaleifa discussed developments in Lebanon and the region and effective steps to improve the Lebanese economy and encourage investment in Lebanon.

The Lebanese minister is also expected to meet with Dubai's crown prince and UAE defense minister, Sheikh Muhammad Bin Rashed al-Maktoum, and other officials.
