Al-Assad accepts credentials of 11 ambassadors accredited in Damascus

President Hafez al-Assad on Sunday received at the Damascus al-Chaab palace the new ambassadors for some 11 countries who handed President al-Assad their credentials.
The ambassadors are from Greece, Yugoslavia, Denmark, Britain, France, Italy, Canada, Algeria, United Arab Emirates, Austria and Bahrain. The ambassadors expressed their happiness to submit their credentials to President al-Assad as representatives of the heads of state. They also expressed their best wishes to President Hafez al-Assad and the Syrian people.
Friendly talks were exchanged between the President and each of the ambassadors combined with his best wishes for the success of their career to Syria.
