Tunisia, Morocco agree to foster tourism cooperation

Tunisia and Morocco agreed to foster cooperation in tourism fields.
The two states, who signed the minutes of their joint tourism commission that met last year in Tunis, convened to set up tourism programs for their citizens, including the enforcement of competitive prices in hotels and the promotion of tourism weeks.
The minutes were initialled on Friday in Rabat by Moroccan tourism minister, Hassan Sebbar, and Tunisian peer Salah Eddine Mouaoui.
The two sides called for encouraging cooperation in real estate and tourism investments and urged their respective businessmen to create joint ventures and exchange expertise.
The Tunisian minister was received on Friday by Moroccan Prime Minister, Abderrahmane Youssoufi, who called for the consolidation of cooperation among the Arab Maghreb countries.
Both Morocco and Tunisia are member of the Arab Maghreb Union (UMA), which also musters Algeria, Libya and Mauritania.
