Crown prince is recognized for genuine efforts to reach out to all Moroccans

The Moroccan press paid tribute to Crown Prince Sidi Mohammed for his action in favor of poor and handicapped people.

The Crown Prince's commitment in the national campaign of solidarity with the poor "gave a new impetus to the genuine values of the Moroccan society, Al-Bayane Daily said.

"The poor and the least favored layers of the Moroccan society see in these initiatives a social opening-up resolve, part of a global development strategy," the daily said in a story titled "The Commitment of a Prince."

The crown prince's initiative is a materialization of the will of the highest authorities of the country to devise a policy to narrow social gaps, the daily added.

For Al-Ahdat Al-Maghribya daily Crown Prince Sidi Mohammed's action in favor of the have-nots reflects his devoted patriotism.

"We have to recognize that the path taken with resolve by the Prince of the youth draws its meaning from the development of the royal institution, whose dynamic was launched by His Majesty the King through the structuring of the country's constitution, the progressive edification of democracy and human rights and the modernization of the state," the daily said.

"The various elites should adhere to the innovative process of the Moroccan monarchy and show a loyal and intelligent patriotism," Al-Ahdat Al-Maghribya wrote.
