A free trade zone between Egypt and Libya

The higher commercial committee between Egypt and Libya will confer in the middle of June to agree on establishing a free trade zone between the two states.
Egyptian Minister of Trade Ahmed Goweili told ArabicNews.com, "It was agreed upon establishing a unified trade point between Egypt and Libya to supervise the commercial outlets between the two countries."
Goweili added, "A technical cooperation protocol was signed between the trade ministers in the two countries for unifying commercial categories, exchanging experience in combating dumping and price monitoring in markets, in addition to establishing a joint commercial bank aimed at financing joint trade and increasing the volume of commercial exchange to one billion pounds. Also, a protocol for cooperation will take place in the field of establishing joint fairs, whether inside or outside the two countries."
