Exports of Egyptian oranges expand to new countries

The volume of Egyptian exports of oranges has been increased from 126,000 tons to 140,000 tons in the current season with an increase of 10.55% through the first of last April.

Ali Eissa, the head of agricultural committee at the Egyptian Businessmen's Assembly, said this increase is related to the opening of new markets before oranges and restoring traditional markets, adding that the Egyptian exports to Arab markets have increased to 100,000 tons.

Eissa said that there are several number of new markets that imported Egyptian orange during the current season such as Romania, Malaysia. London, Ukraine, and Singapore.
