African agency established specializing in evaluating economic projects

The council of African central banks' governors has approved the establishment an African agency specializing in evaluating regional and local economic corporations and projects, helping it to diversify trade and investments activities.

This was said at the conclusion of the annual meetings of the council in Cairo held on the margin of African Development Bank's meetings in Cairo.

Ismael Hassan, the governor of the Egyptian central bank who chaired the meetings, said this is the only recommendation issued by the annual meetings, adding that establishing this agency is aimed at presenting technical help to settle the crisis of all African economic corporations.
