Nimeiri urges Sudanese use national discussion to reach permanent reconciliation

Former Sudanese President Jaafar Nimeiri newly assured the primacy of the Sudanese - Egyptian relations whether on the formal or public level, adding that this primacy obliges Sudan to work on developing bilateral relations and achieving comprehensive integration in all aspects of political, economic, and social life with Egypt.

Nimeiri said in a speech he delivered yesterday during the opening session of the meeting of the central committee for his new political organization, the Alliance of the Working Forces, that he is sincere in what he said at his return to Sudan that he never said he is coming back as a ruler asking for power and that he means to clear the way before the predications of those with devious goals and fertile imaginations so that they do not create rumors and imagine transactions, political alliances and security scenarios because it never occured to him.

Nimeiri urged the Sudanese political forces to enter into a transparent national discussion to reach reconciliation.
