Mubarak is to visit Washington in coming month

Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak will head to Washington at the end of June at the invitation of his US counterpart, Bill Clinton.
Egyptian Foreign Minister Amr Moussa will also head to Washington two days before the visit to meet with U.S. Secretary of State Madeleine Albright to discuss the agenda for a meeting between Mubarak and Clinton.
The talks will tackle means of resuming peace talks on the Syrian and Lebanese tracks, especially after Israeli Prime Minsiter-elect Ehud Barak's assumption of power in Israel.
Sources said, "Communications are currently being made through the Egyptian embassy in Washington to arrange the visit's program," which will include the American - Egyptian partnership agreement.
The Egyptian president will meet the defense secretary, secretary of state and members of the US House of Representatives and Senate.
On the margin of the visit, meetings of the American - Egyptian presidential council that will include businessmen and investors between the two countries.
