Tunis hosts Arab meeting on protecting folklore

A regional Arab meeting opened Tuesday in Tunis to look into ways of protecting folklore heritage in the Arab world. The three day meeting is sponsored by the World Intellectual Property Organization and the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) in cooperation with the Tunisian Ministry of Culture.
The meeting is aimed at exchanging expertise and experiences among Arab states in protecting folklore as well as finding a mechanism of protecting it.
