Sudan accedes to convention on chemical weapons

Sudan yesterday acceded to the Convention on the Prohibition of the Development, Production, Stockpiling and Use of Chemical Weapons and on their Destruction, Manoel de Almeida e Silva, deputy spokesman for the United Nations secretary-general said.
