Jordanian King calls for not wasting time in the peace process

Jordan's King Abdullah Bin Hussein has asserted the need to hurry in resuming peace talks in the Middle East.

On Monday, the Jordanian King expressed his concern that there could be a reaction creating something worse than what the situation was two months ago if nothing happens within the coming three or four months.

The Jordanian King added that what the region had witnessed of frustration during the past years, asserting the need to move quickly in order to achieve peace in the Middle East.

Jordan has criticized outgoing Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for freezing the Wye Plantation agreement signed between Israel and the Palestinian Authority under the auspices of the US and for his non-commitment to redeployment in the West Bank.
