A Palestinian, Syrian, Egyptian summit to be held within one week

The Jordanian paper al-Arab al-Youm quoted well-informed Palestinian sources as saying that it has become evident that a Syrian-Palestinian summit will be held within one week. The sources added that Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak might take part in the summit, especially as he had made efforts beside King Abdullah of Jordan to prepare to bring together Syrian President Hafez al-Assad and Palestinian President Yasser Arafat.
