Libya, South Africa maintain cooperation

Libyan and South African officials held a plenary meeting on Monday in the Libyan city of Syrte. On the Libyan side the meeting was attended by the secretary of the people's committee for the economy and trade (economy minister), Abd al-Hafidh Mahmud Zalitni and the South African side was attended by Minister of Trade and Industry Alec Erwin.
The two sides reviewed prospects of cooperation between Libya and South Africa and means of strengthening and developing this cooperation in all areas to serve the common interests of the peoples of the two countries and the peoples of Africa in general.
