Gaza to host fair for Egyptian products

The Egyptian organization of markets and fairs is due to organize the first exhibition for Egyptian products in Gaza during June. The exhibition is to last for 10 days, with the participation of 80 companies working in all fields to help develop the Palestinian economy.
Egyptian Minister of Trade Ahmed Goweili said that several symposiums would be held on the margin of the fair on investment projects in Egypt and methods of upgrading the volume of bilateral trade.
Moreover, bilateral meetings will be held between Palestinian importers in Gaza and the West Bank with Egyptian exporters.
The volume of trade between Egypt and Palestine does not exceed $15 million at a time in which the volume of Palestine's trade with the world is valued at $1.5 billion.
